First Newscast Critique

Our newscast was not terrible. We did pretty well for our first one. We did well with just getting through the whole thing. We tried to stay extremely serious, even if we weren't the whole time. The new positions we have are working a lot better than before. I prefer our new positions than our old ones. Lexi did a great job as the new anchor and Sam is a great director. Now, we did have a little trouble with pronouncing certain words, the camera people had troubles with certain shots, and Laura messed up on our first take of the newscast. It wasn't perfect. Everyone had a flaw at least in some way. I wasn't exactly paying attention for a couple seconds and forgot to change the picture on the TV behind the anchors. When there was supposed to be a picture of a yearbook page, it was people enjoying a picnic. The camera people could have cropped their shots a little better so there was less curtain. Also, Luke could have moved his elbow so that he wasn't in Laura's shot even the slightest bit. But other than those mistakes and probably some others that I am just forgetting about because they are small, it wasn't a bad newscast! I was very proud of our finished product!
